Living Dangerously

Living Dangerously is a brand new, ten part series for BBC One Daytime presented by Nadia Sawalha, which tells extraordinary stories of ordinary people caught up in extreme weather events in the UK.

From flash floods to freak hailstorms, suburban homes swallowed up by the earth and terrified teens hit by lightning, Living Dangerously investigates what happens when the full force of nature strikes - and how to protect yourself, your home and your family from disaster.

Nadia Sawalha meets the people whose lives have been changed forever by nature. One family recalls the devastating floods in the Cornish village of Boscastle, while in South London a couple remember the day their family home disappeared into the ground beneath it. Using actual footage, reconstruction and personal stories, Living Dangerously goes straight to the heart of one of the nation’s favourite talking points.
