By car:

Whichever direction you're coming from to get to Birmingham, you want to follow signs for the A41. Once you're on the A41, continue to follow the signs for the City Centre. You'll find yourself heading towards town, slightly downhill along a road called Digbeth. You'll pass through a couple of sets of traffic lights before seeing a Renault garage on your left. Around now, get into the right-hand filter lane for the next set of lights. You should see an old-fashioned pub on your right called The Old Crown. Take the right hand turn at this corner into Heath Mill Lane. A few hundred yards along and to your right, next to Air nightclub, is the entrance to the Custard Factory car park (its gates made up of the cubes of squashed cars). Once out of your car, come back out of the car park and Heath Mill Lane is running directly in front of you.

From New St. Station:

If you don't know Birmingham, it's easiest to get a cab from the station. If you do or if it's a particularly nice day and you fancy a walk, here's how. From New Street take the walk-way through the New Bull Ring (next to Waterstones and Nationwide). This walkway will take you down to the Indoor Markets. Follow the road around to the left and then to the right. Keep on the left hand side of the road (called Digbeth) and heading downhill, with the city centre directly behind you. Keep going for about five minutes, beyond South & City College Birmingham. Eventually, you'll get to The Custard Factory complex. Take the left hand side road, walk straight through the complex, under the railway arch until you get to the end of the road. At the end of the road turn left on to Heath Mill Lane. You'll notice Air nightclub and the Custard Factory car park on your right hand side, cross over the road and carry on walking, Maverick Television is 200 yards up ahead!
